Description
We are seeking a Conveyancer/Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This position would be a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a collegial and supportive work environment with flexibility to meet the candidate’s circumstances and the firm’s needs.
General Responsibilities
- Review commercial contracts of purchase and sale, easements, rights of way, subdivisions, and strata plan filings
- Prepare documents concerning acquisitions and sales of various types of commercial properties, financing and development of land
- Attend to the registration of documents and security in land title offices and other government registries
- Conduct due diligence searches and provide comprehensive summaries to assist in decision-making processes
- Liaise with all internal and external parties involved with the transaction, including preparation of correspondence
- Assist with other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications & Attributes
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience handling Residential and Commercial Real Estate work, excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail, and a proven ability to handle assigned tasks independently and as part of a team.
