Fitness Centre Attendant – Part-time

The successful candidate will be available for the shifts listed plus additional shifts for coverage, if needed: Monday and Thursday 4:30PM to 10:00PM and Saturday from 11:00AM to 4:30PM

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Maintaining fitness equipment. Making sure all is in working order
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the fitness facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout fitness facilities.
• Interact with members, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Answering Members’ questions
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and host fitness orientations for members

Requirements & Qualifications

· Applicants should have a Fitness background

· Students and beginners are welcome

· Applicants must have a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment in the Fitness Centre

· Applicants should feel comfortable enforcing policies and procedures

· Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others

· Applicants must also be mature and responsible individuals, who demonstrate flexibility with work hours

· Applicants must have their full CPR/AED Certification

· A Criminal Record Check will be required.

· Must be neat, organized and detail oriented.

· Willingness to learn and develop both social and technical skills.
