Arbutus Laser Centre is a friendly office with 3 doctors and a team of committed professionals. We love what we do and have been providing exceptional care since 1992.
We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about customer service, energetic, motivated, self directed, and has a good understanding of how a busy office operates. The successful candidate will be available on a full time basis, (4 days per week, 34-40 hours per week) including early early evenings and Saturdays. The ability to handle a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer experiences is a must.

Some position details:
- Full time (shift (34-40 hours/wk): 4 days per week including early evenings and Saturdays (the office is closed on long weekends :-)
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Have excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and via email.
- Responsible for scheduling, confirming appointments, and ensuring appointments are booked correctly.
- Receive and make phone calls, fax, email and other administrative/clerical duties as directed.
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist doctors and technicians.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy clinic, housekeeping duties include laundry and daily cleaning of the clinic
- Ensure all paperwork is logged and filed according
- Maintain strict confidentiality about employee and customer information.
Skills and qualifications, experience
- Minimum 3 years customer service experience in previous reception or similar environment or MOA.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and have excellent command of the English language.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to collaborate with other multidisciplinary team members
- Work independently, as a team, and be able to work under pressure.
- Maintain strict patient privacy, confidentiality and accurate record keeping
- Working knowledge of microsoft office programs
- Is motivated to improve upon weaknesses for self-reward and personal job satisfaction. Values continual learning and improvement.
Wage $20-$27 plus team bonuses and perks.

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour starting wage for training
