- Recommend suitable products and investigate new destinations/hotels/amenities
- Manage difficult customer situations
- Apply sales principles (marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques)
- Provide travel information (regulations, duty-free allowances, health risks, attractions, events)
- Manage cancellations and schedule changes
- Develop contact lists
- Make reservations using computerized reservation/ticketing system
