I grew my first business, Drew's Catering & Events, from a small personal chef service to an award-winning catering company with a team of 35 employees and over 50 event staff, executing events as large as 3500 guests. Have completed numerous menu consulting projects across the Lower Mainland for both large and small establishments, with a proven track record of increased profitability, lowered food cost, and reduced labor while keeping an emphasis on fresh, "made in-house" menu items. Have worked with retailers and organizations to develop customized, branded wellness solutions in both retail and staff meal program environments. These programs have created new revenue streams, lowered costs and increased profitability for clients in various sectors. Passionate about engaging young chefs and students about sustainability, healthy food systems, entrepreneurship, and cooking! Currently involved with the Growing Chefs program and a quarterly speaker with Arts Institute Vancouver's Culinary Programs.
