SafeTeen

Safeteen is a Vancouver-based organization that has been providing violence prevention programs for youth in schools since 1983. We facilitate skills-based, empowerment programs for youth that teach them how to stand up for themselves and to make wise choices in their relationships and in their lives. Safeteen is holistic and non-denominational in its approach.

Our staff should be able to relate to current youth and pop culture issues, demonstrating an ability to openly and comfortably communicate on all issues of relevance and interest to the generation. It is important that applicants understand they will be engaging with diverse audiences along the race, culture, religion, gender and economic spectrums.
