HIRING – Web Developer

Location: Virtual – based in Montreal, QC

Salary: $48.08/hour for 40 hours/week

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Schedule: Day shifts, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Work setting: Fully remote / virtual

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related) required

Experience: 5 years or more

Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements

Design and integrate website-related code

Determine hardware/software requirements for optimal server performance

Write, modify, integrate, and test website and software code

Maintain existing computer programs

Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions

Prepare reports, manuals, and documentation on software status and maintenance

Design website appearance, layout, and flow

Assist in collecting and documenting user requirements

Research and evaluate software products

Write, modify, and test code for e-commerce and other internet applications

Copy editing

Design and develop databases

Technical knowledge: Linux, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, API, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Vue.js

Area of work experience: IT service delivery, design, quality assurance/control

Area of specialization: Scrum, development of computer applications
