JOB HIRING – Travel Consultant

Location: Virtual – based in St. Paul, AB
Compensation: 70% commission per sale for 10–40 hours/week (guaranteed minimum wage applies)

Key tasks:
- Handle plane tickets, travel insurance, and other financial transactions
- Calculate travel and accommodation costs
- Recommend suitable products and investigate new destinations/hotels/amenities
- Manage difficult customer situations
- Apply sales principles (marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques)
- Provide travel information (regulations, duty-free allowances, health risks, attractions, events)
- Manage cancellations and schedule changes
- Develop contact lists
- Make reservations using computerized reservation/ticketing system
- Advise clients on destinations, transportation, accommodation, and costs
