I love purpose. I love strategy. I love good, honest business. I love well-crafted communications. I love the art of beautiful wordsmithing and the perfect visual. I love consumer centric conceptual design. I love a marketing concept that transcends all of these elements way more than chocolate cake. When I was a super junior art director working to develop my skills in design, art direction and concepting I was always the first person to hit up the account team for how the campaign results were addressing the goals set forth by the clients. The work not only has to look good–IT HAS TO DO SOMETHING. This has been part of my psyche since I first started in this business many years ago. I have had the honor of working for and leading the business for some of the biggest agencies and clients out there an always my approach is the same. Know or learn about your subject matter and the customers with as much in-depth, relevant knowledge as possible. Dig deeper, dream bigger and come up with ideas that answer questions, push limits and drive activity and then combine that with a communications effort that combines the best strategy supported by industry leading design/art direction and a media plan that talks with the right people at the right place at the right time. It’s not rocket science. It is my deep seeded need to achieve things for clients while continually feeding my thirst to lean more and expand my understanding of human communications. I don’t believe that great marketing or communications require needless hype, misdirection or flat-out inaccuracies to succeed. Good communications that survives the test of time and helps overcome the challenges and the difficulties that companies face today requires a relationship that is earned, supported and honest. This is the only true success to me. If you are looking for someone who exemplifies the values above, I would love to talk with you. No pressure, no BS, no strings attached. Let’s find magic.
