(CDA) Having served the high-end of the Development community for over three decades, the CDA team has become a leading choice for complex, mixed-use high-rise design and Master planned communities throughout the West Coast of North America. In the past decade alone, CDA has designed over 100 high-rise towers including condominiums, rental, hotel, office and hospitality uses and totaling well over 25,000,000 s.f. Prominent local projects include the transit-oriented 2M s.f. Station Square community in Metrotown and 1.7M s.f. SOLO District at the Brentwood Tower Center. We have a significant presence in municipalities throughout the Lower Mainland, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto, and United States, where we have completed numerous successful projects in the cities of Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, and San Diego, CA.
Chris Dikeakos Architects Inc. (CDA) are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist plays a crucial role in shaping our company's first impression. We seek an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and is eager to contribute positively to our workplace culture. Additionally, this role involves assisting with various marketing initiatives, including social media management, promotional and staff events, and coordination of marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm appointments for both staff and management
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Answer electronic enquiries
- Assist with preparation of meetings and presentations
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Liase with vendors, clients and suppliers
- Greet guests and direct them to contacts or service areas
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the office
- Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems and perform data entry
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
- Provide office-wide staff support and coordination of promotional and staff events
- Report directly to HR Manager and provide assistance to HR and Finance teams
- Maintain company SharePoint page and company marketing portfolio
- Maintain and manage company website, marketing collateral and social media accounts
Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2-5 years Office Admin/Receptionist and/or Marketing Experience
- Experience in an Architecture or Engineering office an asset
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Proficiency in: MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Windows, MS Outlook
- Experience with SharePoint, Google Docs, Canva
- Experience with Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign and Adobe Acrobat an asset
- Social Media Account Management Experience (Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Website management experience (WordPress)

Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm (In-Person)
- Expected hours: 40 per week
- Salary: $45,000-$60,000.00 - Commensurate with experience
