Organization Deion: Studio One Architecture Inc. is a leading architectural firm committed to innovative design and sustainable solutions. We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist who will also take on responsibilities as a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager, integrating both roles to support our project teams.

Job Deion:
The Architectural Technologist / BIM Manager will support the architectural team in developing technical design solutions and will also oversee the implementation and management of building information modeling technologies. This dual role involves enhancing technical design delivery through effective BIM practices and participating actively in architectural design processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings and documents while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards.

• Train and mentor staff on BIM workflows and best practices.

• Manage and maintain BIM software template files and develop Revit families to ensure standards.

• Maintain and update Dynamo s and oversee upgrades for Revit software versions to ensure compatibility and optimization.

• Assist with the technical resolution of design and BIM issues.

• Manage the implementation of BIM technologies across multiple projects.

• Contribute to the technical design phase of project development.

• Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure specifications and timelines are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural technology and BIM management within the construction or architecture industry.

• Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit and proficient in other architectural design and BIM software.

• Knowledge of Dynamo and Python ing is an asset.

• Thorough understanding of BIM applications and architectural design best practices.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, including planning, design, construction, and operations.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
