Description
Position
We are looking for a morning front counter person.
Who we are
Bad Dog Bread is a local Artisan Bakery striving to provide our community with good honest bread, quality pastries, freshly milled flour and excellent service. We are proud of the bread and pastries we make.
Requirements
We value attitude over experience.
Good understanding of a professional kitchen/bakery is an asset.
Ability to work alone, and maintain good time management.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic (please explain what that means to you when you apply)
Attention to detail and cleanliness.
Reliable and punctual
Outgoing and personable
Duties
Greet customers and be able to answer their questions about our products.
Organise all preorders for the day and reply to emails.
Prepare all of the delivery boxes.
Update the delivery sheet from the day before.
Compensation and Schedule
Up to $21-$23/hour depending on experience.
Wednesday - Saturday 6am - 2pm
Sunday 7am-4pm
- Full benefits after 3 months.
- Extra 5 sick days off plus.
- Mental wellness days off.
- 40 hours a week with possible overtime during holidays and busy season.
