Description
Responsibilities:
- Complete monthly bookkeeping tasks for a wide range of businesses from client-supplied records, including: accounts payable and accounts receivable management, bank and credit card reconciliations and payroll processing
- Prepare and submit Payroll Source Deductions, WSIB, HST, EHT and Records of Employment
- Preparation of month-end financial statements
- Preparation of T4, T5 & ROE slips
- Professional communication with clients and government agencies
- Work within time budgets, monitor progress to budget and meet deadlines
- Report progress of engagements to the Bookkeeping Management Team on a regular basis
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in an accounting-related field
- Previous experience working in an accounting firm preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with DT Max, ProFile, VohCom and Dext are all assets
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. comfortable with video conferencing platforms
- Adaptable to new technologies in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently, within a team and across multiple departments
- Clear understanding of a client-centric environment, ensuring timely service and meeting of deadlines
- Desire to learn, develop and grow into new opportunities
- Aptitude for juggling multiple projects and prioritizing workflow
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
