This role will support one of our partners, an emerging brand in the wellness industry. Their founder is a spiritual mentor, humanitarian, and entrepreneur with over 150K followers on social media.

Job Summary

We are looking for a mindful individual who has a keen interest in meditation and spirituality who will join our team as a Brand & Social Media Coordinator. You will be responsible for helping develop, implement, and oversee marketing strategies to promote and enhance the brand's global presence.

You will oversee various aspects of branding, including market research, product development, content creation, outreach campaigns, and promotional activities. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams, including editing and filmmaking, to ensure brand consistency and effectively communicates the brand's message to the target audience.

Your pathway to success starts by positively impacting the direction of a fast-growing team with vision and passion. This is ideal for someone who can work full time, has access to a vehicle and lives locally in the lower mainland.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive brand strategies aligned with the brand’s overall objectives. Conduct market research to identify consumer insights and market trends. Define the brand's positioning, target audience, and key messaging.
  • Social Media Management: Lead digital marketing efforts on implementing SEO, SEM and other online strategies. Produce and publish new content on our social media platforms in an interesting and appealing manner. Manage and maintain daily and monthly content/copy driven goals that align with marketing strategies
  • Content Creation Coordination: Liaise with the filmmaking team and attendees to plan and execute filming sessions. Identify effective 60-90 second videos (time-stamping) from longer form recorded videos. Manage and exchange raw and completed video files between the editing and filming team.
  • Marketing Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, social media, etc.). Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling marketing materials, including advertisements, packaging, and promotional materials. Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results.
  • Brand Identity Management: Ensure brand consistency across all touch points, including marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and customer interactions. Develop and enforce brand guidelines to maintain visual and messaging standards. Monitor brand perception and reputation, and implement strategies to enhance brand equity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, editing, and filmmaking to align brand strategies with overall business objectives. Liaise with external partners, agencies, vendors, and agents to execute marketing initiatives effectively. Assist with various administrative tasks on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the brand's marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Monitor expenses and ROI for marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 2 years in brand management, social media, or marketing roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market research data and consumer insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and branding aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

Additional Information:

  • This position may require occasional travel.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate project deadlines and campaign launches.
  • This position can either be salaried or contract.
  • Minimum one-year term.
  • Full-time (40 hours per week).
