About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Civil Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who can independently produce high-quality construction documents while collaborating closely with project management to ensure constructability and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Design Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in preparing complete project plans and documentation
- Support Project Manager with jurisdictional coordination and project submittals
- Coordinate with other in-house disciplines to ensure project cohesion
Construction Administration:
- Assist Project Manager with construction administration activities throughout the project lifecycle
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly team meetings
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and project objectives
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the Project Manager
- Senior Project Designers and Project Designers may report to the Civil Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer
Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California (Required)
- 4–8 years of experience in site development and land development projects
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Land Desktop Development (LDD)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Preferred)
