Construction Project Coordinator

EYCO Building Group is looking for an experienced CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR in Vancouver, BC.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:


• Hold a related degree/diploma/trade and/or have relevant background with technical training in estimating, quantity surveying or a related discipline.

• Have 3+ years experience in a construction or office environment

• Can demonstrate knowledge and experience of the various disciplines involved with estimating, tendering, and producing project budgets ranging from $200k - $5m.

• Have demonstrated leadership, analytical and communication skills support your collaborative approach to delivering results

• Must be a strong communicator in both verbal and written English.

• Have built or able to build a broad network of professional colleagues, subcontractors, and team members to effect competitive excellence, pride in teamwork and outstanding project delivery

• Have strong computer skills in software including MS Office, MS Project and others

• Project management or coordination experience and/or training would be considered an asset


ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Estimating and helping to manage pre-construction documents and general project set up.

• Preparation of full estimates, identifying inherent project risk and opportunities.

• Create turn over packages to site supervisors for project execution

• Assisting in budget tracking and monthly invoice packages

• Assisting in project close out and necessary documentation required

• Follow direction of Project Manager, architect, designers and clients

• Assist in maintaining current project schedules for various projects

• Assist in maintaining current budgets and trackers for various projects
