• SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Terris & Company General Contractors Ltd. is seeking a Delivery Driver in the Residential Construction to join our team.

Long term employment – Full Time

• YOUR CRITICAL SKILLS:
• Must have a valid B.C. Drivers license with a minimum of 4 years driving experience with a clean record
• Experience driving a small utility trailer
• Experience securing loads fit for transport
• Physically fit and enjoy hard work in all weather conditions
• Highly motivated, energetic, personable, and forward thinking
• Support all site construction operations and work collaboratively with the team onsite
• Willing to work to a variable delivery schedule and supplement off delivery time with site support labour
• YOUR PREFERRED SKILLS:

  Delivery Driver / Site Support Labourer is responsible for completing the day to day pick-up and delivery of construction materials to our projects along with providing labour support with a wide range of building tasks on site including:

• Moving and organizing materials onsite
• Maintain awareness of site safety and identify and report any safety issues
• Integrate into a motivated, vested team who takes pride in their work, and is committed to the team project goals
• OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience working in the construction industry
• Transportation and cell phone
• You enjoy working in a team environment and providing support to all members of the team
• You take pride in your work and are detail oriented

• Job Type: Full-time

  Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

  Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
