We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Digital & Marketing and Public Relations Specialist to join our team. You will be the lead of our digital marketing efforts, championing our brand across various digital platforms. Your main responsibilities will include managing social media channels, optimizing our SEO efforts, overseeing the brand website, engaging in influencer marketing, crafting PR articles, managing loyalty programs, and fostering our customer community.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our brand story and strategy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in raising awareness, promoting our organization's mission, and enhancing our public image.
Responsibilities:
This role requires an understanding of non-profits/ disability services, along with proven expertise in marketing and public relations strategies to effectively communicate our services and initiatives to a diverse audience. The work is highly rewarding and is an opportunity to make a positive impact in vulnerable 25.00populations across the province of BC.
- Social Media Management: Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- SEO: Optimize website content for search engines to improve our brand's search ranking and visibility, including keyword research, content optimization, and analytics tracking.
- Brand Website Management: Oversee the overall management of the brand website, ensuring it is always up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand identity and objectives.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify and collaborate with influencers across platforms to expand brand reach and credibility.
- PR Articles: Craft and distribute engaging and informative PR articles to promote brand awareness and positive image.
- Loyalty Program and Community Management: Develop and manage customer loyalty programs and engage with our customer community to foster loyalty and advocacy.
- Brand Story and Strategy: Articulate and execute the brand's story and strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with our company's vision and goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience with non-profits.
- Minimum of 5 years of social media management. (all major platforms)
- Proven experience in digital marketing or related roles, with a strong portfolio of successful digital campaigns.
- Expertise in social media management and analytics tools.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and tools.
- Experience with website management and optimization.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling brand messages.
- Creative thinking with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
