We are seeking an energetic and driven Estimator/Project Manager to join our team for an exciting long-term career opportunity.

The successful candidate will work with the Project Team based out of beautiful Kamloops, B.C. However, the project(s) will be spread around the province.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Working with the Senior Project Manager on the following:

• Scope control and design review
• Comprehension and interpretation of contract documents
• Review contracts
• Manage project financial performance
• Estimating and tracking of project costs
• Estimate changes
• Purchase materials and equipment
• Develop, review and update project schedules
• Communication & collaboration with project team to manage the project
• Maintain a good relationship with suppliers, consultants, clients and end users
• Track and manage deficiencies
• Manage, compile, review project close out documentation including manuals & as-built drawings
• Participate and contribute to project team's lessons learned and continuous improvement

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

This position is ideal for a candidate with electrical related project management, electrical project coordination, or electrical estimating experience. Candidates with the required skills, who are able to demonstrate applicable experience from other relevant roles, are welcome to apply. You are a self-starter with a solution-oriented attitude interested in continuing your own development and learning. As a bright, ambitious, honest, personable, and straight forward professional, you will fit well within the friendly working environment.

You should have a solid mix of the following qualifications:

• Post Secondary education or training in the electrical field either as an engineer, engineering technologist or as an electrician.
• Some proven experience in electrical estimation with the ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• PMP designation
• Construction Project Management or Project Coordination ideally in the electrical arena.
• Accubid or other estimating software
• MS Office and MS Project or other project management software
• AutoCad

Strong to excellent proficiency in the following skills are a must as well:

• Teamwork
• Attention to detail
• Written and verbal communication
• Organization

We offer a competitive compensation plan consisting of a generous base salary commensurate to your experience, plus benefits, and potential for variable pay as well.

This position is on-site only, remote work is not available.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
