The Business
Jacob Campagnaro, VP of Commercial Real Estate at REC Canada's Commercial Division, leads one of the country's largest commercial portfolios. The Role
Jacob is in search of dedicated Executive Assistant support to unlock his ability to spend time on value added activities that enable him to continue to grow and scale his business. Comprehensive support is needed to optimize tasks and ensure a well-coordinated and successful real estate operation.
To thrive in this role, candidates must demonstrate excellence in the following areas:
1. Client Relations: cultivating and sustaining positive relationships with clients, actively contributing to the creation of client presentations and marketing materials.
2. Market Research & Transaction Support: executing comprehensive market analysis and collecting vital data on potential properties and competitors. Providing support throughout the preparation and processing of real estate transactions, collaborating seamlessly with various professionals involved, and playing a key role in the development of a robust deal pipeline.
3. Property Marketing: playing a crucial role in the creation and distribution of compelling marketing materials and orchestrating the listing and promotion of properties.
4. Logistical Coordination: demonstrating adeptness in the efficient management of calendars for appointments and meetings, skillfully coordinating travel arrangements, and flawlessly executing events, open houses, and client engagements. Strategically scheduling and coordinating team meetings, with meticulously preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
5. Database & File Management: maintaining streamlined filing systems for documents and contracts, overseeing contact databases, and diligently tracking property listings, sales, and client information.
6. General Office Support: providing seamless office support by handling phone calls and emails with professionalism, and masterfully drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and various documents. Ensuring the diligent tracking and management of expenses, invoices, and the preparation of necessary financial reports.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in an Executive Assistant or Administrative Support role, preferably in a real estate focused environment.
- Experience in Marketing and/or Social Media management.
- Experience working autonomously and managing a wide breadth of priorities as an executive’s right hand.

Interview Process
The following phases are what you can expect through the interview process for this role:
- Written Assessment: candidate will receive a written assessment via email from Impetus Consulting as a preliminary evaluation to determine if the role is the right match for their skills and aptitudes.
- Initial Interview: candidate will schedule a phone call with Impetus Consulting and will engage in a series of behavioural interview questions.
- Interview and Case Assessment: candidate will receive a short case study in advance of the interview to present back to Jacob and Impetus Consulting through the course of a 60 minute interview.
- Follow Up Interview (In Person): candidate will have the opportunity to meet Jacob in person to learn more about the business and opportunity through an informal conversation.
- Reference Check: candidate will provide two professional references, at least one of which they have reported to previously, to Impetus Consulting for a reference check.
- Offer: candidate will receive a verbal offer followed by a papered agreement from Jacob Campagnaro’s office.
Comepensation
The typical hiring range for a position starts at $55,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. If your qualifications differ from those listed above, the scope of work and final agreed upon salary may be adjusted to reflect your individual qualifications.
This role may be offered on a Contractor or Employee basis.
