Matrix Metal is hiring two shop foreman/supervisors. One for day shift and one for afternoon shift.

The main focus of our shop is custom fabrication of miscellaneous metal items and structures and erection of structural steel items .

Please have a minimum of 20 years of shop fabrication experience and 5 years shop foreman experience . We are a CWB-certified certified company in Smaw and FCAW and you will be required to get certified as well. Fall protection and scissor/boom lift training is also required.

we will pay for the training but the training will need to be completed on your own time. You will be expected to be certified before your probationary period is complete.

We are looking for 2 well rounded team members with a strong work ethic, the ability to interpret drawings and efficiently layout, fabricate, weld, and finish items correctly. We have a very high standard of quality and you will be expected to maintain that quality and guide others.

Experience welding and polishing light gauge stainless steel material, Mig/Tig welding of Aluminum, and Stick/mig/flux core welding of Steel are also required skills.

Please be prepared to fabricate custom and complex items in our shop or move material using forklifts. Capable of lifting up to 50lbs at a time in the shop or on site. Site work is part of our work scope and a clean driving record is needed so that you can drive our crew van.
A hard hat and safety stripes will be needed for site work.

The shift is 4/10s monday to Thursday 6am to 4:30pm. We may be able to offer a 5/8s shift for the foreman if its more suitable. We offer competitive wages and benefits for our employees.

We are a custom metal shop working on things like guard rails, handrails, Stairs, misc. Stainless items, Smaller Structural assemblies, ladders and platforms, Carts, ramps, racks, etc.

We have a no BS get it done properly mentality and pay well for exceptional skills and abilities and we expect that to be reflected in our supervision.
