OVERVIEW

The Food & Beverage Cashier is responsible for the efficient operation of the 24/7 Eats window at Parq Vancouver. They will assist guests with food orders and ensure they leave with a positive lasting impression.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge of all food promotions and Food items on the menu
• Properly refill condiments or any necessary to go items when stock is low
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area and environment
• Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Provide proactive customer service, in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customers’ orders while operating the cash register
• Receive and dispense correct change to customers
• Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, change and cash outs at end of shift
• Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
• Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Clear, clean maintain tables that guests use and general cleaning of work area in the 2go area
• Perform other job-related duties, as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to get along well with others in a team environment
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Proven superior customer service experience
• Committed to promoting a safe work environment
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino environment
• Friendly, outgoing and professional
• Respectful approach and demeanor

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
• Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
• Food Safe Certification
• Serving it Right Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
• Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
