As the General Labourer & Driver at Harbour Cruises, you’ll get to:

• Safely and efficiently deliver products (Primarily Food & Beverage) to our Vessels, On Site and Offsite Events
• Proactively plan routes and follow delivery schedules and instructions
• Load & unload all items for the deliveries assigned with care, accuracy, and to detail
• Create and maintain records, reports and other documentation as required to meet company and business expectations (I.e. Driving Log, scheduling, pick up & drop off points, event details & timings etc.)
• Assist with set up at sites
• Efficiently packing a vehicle
• Maintaining operational and clean work area, equipment and vehicle
• Able to confidently drive up to 2 hours on the road
• Effectively communicates any delays that may arise during the delivery (ie. Traffic etc)
• Pre & Post Trip Inspections of vehicle and equipment
• Fuel and maintain vehicles as required
• Assist in other areas, including but not limited to – General Labourer assisting our Maintenance and Operations Team
• Be a positive ambassador of Harbour Cruises on and off the road

What you will bring to the team

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License (Minimum 2 years driving experience)
• Proof of work eligibility and consent to background check
• Reliable transportation to and from our facilities (Just Right Catering, Harbour Cruises, Offsite events)
• Capability of lifting 50lbs of weight or more with care, comfortable getting in and around a van multiple times during the deliveries
• Organization and structure to ensure our products are delivered with the same quality as they were picked up
• No driver’s license suspensions or DUI/DWI within the last 5 years (Clean Drivers Extract required)
• Proficiently moving and handling items with care
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal team members and with customers alike
• Food Safe Level 1 (Can be obtained prior to start date)
• Customer service experience
• A positive and professional attitude
• Serving it Right (Bonus)

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: $17.40-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
