LOCI Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Inc. seeks talented, energetic, and passionate professionals to join our growing practice based in beautiful Vancouver, B.C.

We are looking to add the following position(s) to our growing Team:

Intermediate or Senior Level Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated person with a degree in Landscape Architecture, with 4-6+ years’ experience in a landscape architecture office. LOCI is seeking team members who have leadership qualities and can work in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. You have exceptional communication and design skills, with experience overseeing all facets of project management. Experience in overseeing construction documentation, specification writing, and field services will be considered an asset.

In addition, we are looking for applicants who display the following skills:

• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams through the schematic design, design development, permitting and contract document phases of a project;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills;
• Excellent time management of various projects with conflicting demands;
• A willingness to resolve problems quickly and efficiently;
• Ability to lead a small in-house design team on various projects with direct oversight by the Principal-In-Charge;
• Experience with proposal writing and tracking is considered an asset;
• Special emphasis on people with an interest in urban design, mixed-use development, public realm, institutional, infrastructure, streetscapes, and single family residential work;
• Experience and willingness to travel to various project sites during Contract Administration and Field Review (a valid BC Drivers licence is considered an asset);
• Proficiency in Vectorworks (or equivalent CAD software), Creative Suite, 3D software and Lumion, Microsoft Office;
• Ideally, en route to BCSLA registration if not already a registered L.A.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
