KORE SOFTWARE is looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking intermediate developer who is able to wear many hats and support our team in a number of different roles. This position within our platform team will pivot between QA, Support, Maintenance, DevOps and Feature Development to support the team where they need it most.

The platform team is responsible for building and maintaining SaaS products that enable both rights holders, such as Professional Sports Teams, and brands to manage corporate partnerships and sponsorships. We bring together all stakeholders and provide a collaborative and transparent view into the business.

Along with these products, the platform team is also developing a suite of shared tools to unify our applications and create a consistent, consolidated user experience across all products.

As a Support Developer, you will engage with the team to alleviate bottlenecks and provide support to the team across a number of different disciplines. You will have experience testing, maintaining and supporting large and complex products in a cloud-based environment. You will work closely with team leadership to determine where the team needs most support and what can be done to make the SDLC more efficient and robust.

We are looking for an individual who is comfortable being a Jack/Jill-of-all-trades, jumping into different roles to provide support when and where it's needed most. Someone who learns quickly, can challenge the status-quo, provide ideas for improvements to our processes and automate/streamline manual tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Work in a cross-functional product team to support the deliver our vision and roadmap of a high-quality SaaS product

Work with QA to manually test tickets, write automated tests and perform releases

Increase/improve unit test coverage within our codebases

Create or maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure in AWS

Support the maintenance and operations of the product, including support for customer escalations

Provide solutions to automate time-consuming manual tasks

Contribute and create technical documentation such as technical design specifications, test plans, support guides and product documentation

When needed, aid the development team on new feature development

Participate and advocate in the team's agile processes and continuous improvement efforts

Partner with the team's leadership and assist in driving forward best practices such as coding standards, code reviews, code management, and release strategies

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant work experience in a software development, DevOps or QA field

Solid understanding of C# .Net and relational databases (ideally MySql/SQL Server)

Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, debugging, etc.

Experience building and/or certifications for AWS services (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudFormation, Lambda, EventBridge, Fargate, ElastiCache, ECS, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Aurora, etc.)

Familiar with QA processes, manual testing and/or writing automated tests

Experience working in a fast paced, agile environment

Strong written and verbal English skills, the ability to communicate clearly with the team and a desire to mentor/teach junior members of the team.

Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

Additional Details

Preferred Skills:
DevOps experience, and ability to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in AWS

Experience with SaaS multi-tenant architecture

Experience with Angular, State management, Type, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS

Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and web services at scale

Experience with work management and collaboration systems such as JIRA
