Jr. Accountant/ Accounts Coordinator/Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Jr. Accountant/Accounts Coordinator/Bookkeeper with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial operations. This is a full-time role with opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will encompass, but is not limited to
- Commission payments and reconciliations
- Full-cycle accounting, including preparation of financial statements and cash flow management
- Accounts Payable management, including credit card reconciliations and government remittances (GST, WCB, payroll deductions)
- Payroll processing for a small team (under 10 employees)
- Bank reconciliations
- Benefits plan administration, including submitting claims

- Familiarity with office management practices and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Sage Accounting software and billing programs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive, "can-do" attitude
- Strong attention to confidentiality and handling sensitive information
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Position: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time
