We are committed to providing our Co-ops/Interns with a student experience that provides a supportive and engaging learning environment while developing skills and business acumen. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences including our Corporate Speaker Series, Fireside Chats, Volunteer opportunities and Networking events.

Eligibility Note: To qualify for a student (Co-op/Internship) opportunity, students must be enrolled in their academic studies at a post-secondary institution (university/college) and must be returning to school after completion of their work term with QuadReal. If you are a student registered in an official co-op program at your post-secondary institution and completion of a final work term is a mandatory component for you to graduate, you are eligible to apply with the understanding that you will leave QuadReal at the end of your work term or have the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities.

Based in Vancouver, the Co-op/Intern, Marketing, will report to the Marketing Director, Oakridge Park, and be responsible for helping tell the Oakridge Park story by providing support to the marketing team in advance of the opening in 2025. The Marketing Intern will focus their attention on the overall execution of marketing activities designed to generate brand awareness, build community by increasing “heart share,” grow our digital footprint, and position Oakridge Park’s shopping centre as the leader in the luxe retail marketing space vis-à-vis cutting-edge marketing ideation and execution.

What You Will Experience:

• Exposure to the niche industry of retail luxury marketing

• Opportunity be part of one of North America’s largest mixed-use development’s marketing team

• Develop event management prowess from ideation to execution

• Increase knowledge in all facets of marketing including branding, content marketing, digital marketing, and communications

• Deepen understanding of customer journeys through digital marketing efforts such as social media, website traffic, etc

• Work cross-functionally with leasing and operations with hands on experience

• Assist the team with other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program that relates to marketing and communications

• Interest in developing a career in marketing with a passion for the fashion and retail industry

• Uncanny ability to multi-task with an exceptional eye for detail

• Collaborative team player and a self-starter

• Strong verbal and written communicator; fluency in Chinese (written) is considered to be an asset

• Intrinsically tech-savvy with social media tools and web analytics

• An appreciation for the luxury industry

• Agile with a can-do attitude

The expected hourly range for this role is $22-$25.
