Description

Looking for an energetic, professional, and organized individual with the ability to multitask in a busy sports medicine clinic in Vancouver.

Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction: Greet patients, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries in a friendly and professional
manner.
Administrative Tasks: Manage patient records, handle correspondence, and maintain accurate documentation.
Bill Insurance Coordination: Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and assist patients with billing questions.
Ability communicate and bill to MSP, ICBC, WorkSafe, and other third party insurance companies
Scheduling: Coordinate practitioners schedule and manage appointment calendars.
Office Management: Monitor office supplies, organize files, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, clinic owner and insurance companies.

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative role is preferred, at least 1 year for both.
Education: Completion of a medical administration program or equivalent is an asset.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical software, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records (EHR
specifically JaneApp).
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication in the English Language (having a second language is an asset),
empathy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Time Management: Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to manage a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism: A polished demeanor and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
