Description
Location: Edmonton, AB
Work Type: Permanent / Full Time
Our client is searching for a Property Coordinator to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of housing co-operatives. A successful candidate will focus on stability and strong relationships, be approachable, yet able to enforce policies when necessary.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Coordinate inspections, repairs, and ongoing property management
- Assist with budgets, presenting financial reports to Boards, and ensuring compliance with agreements
- Build trust with Boards and co-op members, ensuring transparent communication
- Host and attend Board meetings
- Follow structured procedures to maintain consistency and quality service.
Your strengths include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Property Management, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Familiarity with co-operative housing models and relevant legislation is highly desirable
- Strong financial acumen, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in property management software
- Professional designations such as Certified Property Manager or equivalent are an asset
