Who we are:

Vertex Performance is one of Surrey’s leading rehabilitation clinics offering Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, and Kinesiology services. We treat all kinds of injuries including minor aches and pains to traumatic injuries, work-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, post-operative problems, and sports-related rehabilitation for patients of all ages.

We have an existing registered massage therapy clientele ready for a new team member.

Who we are looking for:

• You must be a Registered Massage Therapists in good standing with the College of British Columbia (CMTBC)
• You are passionate, team-oriented, and have a growth mindset
• You are committed to providing person-centered 1-on-1 care
• You are comfortable with hands-on techniques and exercise preion
• You are client-centric and focus on the client’s experience by fostering and maintaining their journey of care in collaboration with other therapists and staff
• You advocate for your own development and reach out to learn from your fellow therapists, senior therapists and Clinical directors
• You are a clear communicator and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans
• Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
• Administer massage techniques, treating soft tissues and joints of the body through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations, remedial exercise programs and client self-help programs
• Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques for further postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises
• Maintain records of treatments given
• May consult with other health care professionals such as physiotherapists, kinesiologists, chiropractors, physicians and psychologists when developing treatment plans for clients.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
