Description
We are seeking an experienced and organized Retail Sales Associate and Customer Support Staff. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, our staff, and management to ensure that everything is run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. Good verbal communication skill is required.
Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner & check customers in and out for services offered
- Cash/POS system: Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Sales: Provide product information to customers and help them make purchasing decisions. Upsell to customers.
- Stocking: Order products through vendors websites, Assist in restocking merchandise and maintaining inventory levels & maintain a clean and organized shelves. Price and count products and enter into our system
Qualifications
roven experience in sales and customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of pet food/nutrition is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
