Description
CUSTOMER SERVICE: PHOTOFINISHING COUNTER
We are seeking an experienced cashier/retail customer service associate to join our team for the summer, with a strong interest and knowledge of digital and film photography.
Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service at our photofinishing counter where we sell film, assist customers with their digital and film photofinishing orders, answer phones, and assist customers place orders using our photo kiosks. Plus: take passport photos meeting our high standards, upload photo orders to the cloud, and various tasks to support our sales team. This summer position is ideal for a local college or university student, or semi-retiree.
Note: this position does not include camera sales.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of digital and traditional film photography products and services required
- Previous retail customer service experience
- Proficient in cashier and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Great positive attitude!
SCHEDULE: Summer position. Mondays to Saturdays with either Tuesdays or Thursdays off. Typically 10am to 5:30pm
Job Types: Temporary, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
