The role of the Social Media & Account Manager is responsible for leading the overall direction and execution of organic social media strategy, as well as the contribution to day-to-day account management of digital advertising campaigns. The successful candidate’s goal is to provide best in class expertise and recommendations that drive performance. This role requires the person to work as part of a small team and collaborate with other departments to deliver amazing campaigns and marketing solutions.


This role is set up to be a hybrid in-office position with the aim of coming into our amazing downtown office three days a week. We are looking for a fun, quirky and passionate team player who has the chops to add value to the work we do. There’s plenty coming back your way with

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and lead organic social media strategies, including content calendars, post scheduling, and community engagement.

● Regularly perform keyword research, negative keyword checks, and campaign optimizations.

● Generate ad and SEO copy for frequent updates and campaign improvements.
● Maintain detailed campaign and budget schedules, ensuring efficient tracking and management.
● Generate client reports, maintaining uniformity and accuracy.
● Collaborate across departments to create compelling marketing campaigns and creative assets.
● Assist in website content creation and maintenance, using WordPress.
● Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are effectively communicated and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
● Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
● Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop strategic plans that align with their business objectives.


Required Experience:

● Experienced in using Google Sheets or Excel.
● Familiar with scheduling and task manager software (Clickup, Asana, Function Point, etc.)
● Social media management experience (portfolio preferred).
● 3+ years in a client facing account management role.


Desired Skills:

● Post-secondary education in marketing/advertising or relevant experience.
● Strong acumen in social media as a marketing tool, especially Instagram and TikTok.
● Proficient in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Express).
● Basic knowledge of WordPress and web content creation.
● Excellent communication, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple projects.
