Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Manager to oversee our Tire Business & automotive repair shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the shop
- Supervise and train staff on repair techniques and customer service
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Ensure quality control standards are met
- Handle customer inquiries and provide estimates
- Oversee scheduling of repairs and maintenance
- Perform hands-on mechanical work as needed
Experience:
- Perfect in English
- Have to have great customer service experience & knowledge + enjoy serving people.
- Should be experienced in Tire Shop / Mechanical / Auto Detailing and service Business.
- Be Patient and great with customers and sales.
- Should have at least 3 years of managerial experience.
- Be available full time from 8:30 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday.
- Flexible and eager to learn.
- Be Very punctual and consistent.
- Very good at Multitasking and experienced in performing under pressure.
- Should have drivers license and preferably own a vehicle.
- Available to work on the weekends if required.
- Preferably living in West or North Vancouver.
- Prior experience in Tires business or automotive repair as a team lead or Manager.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Sales experience is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and Tires consistently throughout the day.
- Excellent customer service skills
