1-800-GOT-JUNK? is looking for a Copywriter to join our growing team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape our brand voice across various channels, collaborate with talented designers and SEO experts, and significantly impact our brand goals. For this role’s duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of time.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Write original copy for ads, campaigns, blogs, and social media
• Create and maintain brand voice integrity guidelines for all channels
• Edit and fact-check pieces of content generated by colleagues
• Working with the SEO team, use SEO practices to optimize writing and increase visibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tone of voice is incorporated at all points along the customer journey
• Liaise with Designers to ensure alignment between visual imagery and text
• Shape language and tone used across all content channels
• Understand how to review and utilise channel metrics to improve copy to drive results (conversion, engagement, etc)
• Ensure all content is up-to-date across all consumer content channels

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.


 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary $54,000 - $65,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
