Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Email Marketing Campaign Specialist to own and execute our end-to-end email marketing strategy. This role is crucial for driving customer engagement, increasing retention, and maximizing revenue through targeted and personalized email communications across the customer lifecycle. The specialist will be responsible for campaign creation, testing, deployment, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning: Develop and manage the comprehensive email calendar, aligning campaigns with overall marketing, sales, and product goals.

Campaign Execution: Build, segment, test, and deploy all email campaigns (promotional, lifecycle, transactional, and newsletters) using our Email Service Provider (ESP).

A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct rigorous A/B testing on subject lines, send times, content, segmentation, and CTAs to continuously improve key metrics (deliverability, open rate, click-through rate, and conversion).

Segmentation & Personalization: Leverage customer data and demographic/behavioral insights to create highly targeted audience segments and implement dynamic personalization.

Automation: Design, build, and maintain complex email marketing automation workflows (drip campaigns, welcome series, abandoned cart, reactivation, etc.).

Performance Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on email campaign results weekly and monthly, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Compliance: Ensure all email campaigns adhere strictly to CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant data privacy regulations.
Qualifications

Experience: X+ years of hands-on experience managing and executing email marketing campaigns, preferably within a B2C or eCommerce environment.

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency with a major Email Service Provider (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze) and strong working knowledge of CRM systems.

Data Analysis: Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and translate results into concrete optimization strategies.

Skills: Strong understanding of email deliverability best practices, list hygiene, HTML/CSS for email template modification, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
