Full Stack Developer

We are a fast moving, agile, Fintech company with interests in blockchain, AI, and user centric web applications.

We work remotely and have a geographically diverse team, but also have a beautiful office in the iconic Marine Building downtown Vancouver.

Our team is made up of highly skilled engineers who each have unique expertise, and as such it is a great environment in which to learn new technologies and expand your skill set.

We are looking for an engineer who is willing to work on a variety of technologies and participate in multiple roles during product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a small team where the candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of software development, from sprint planning, to implementation, to QA and release.
• Create and maintain mission critical software complete with unit tests.
• Participate directly in deployment of software to production systems.
• Participate in engineering and architecture discussions.
• Understand and comply with engineering standards and practices.
• Take responsibility for delivering on timelines the candidate has committed to.

Desired Skills

• Must be proficient in three or more of the following: React/Redux (Including related web technologies such as CSS and HTML), Type / Java, Node.js, MongoDB / Mongoose, REST Interface Development, Blockchain development (Specifically with ERC20 and/or Hyperledger Fabric)
• Must be capable of clearly communicating ideas; both at a high level, and in detail.
• Problem solving and debugging skills throughout all components of software development.
• Must be able to understand and participate in design and architecture discussions, but is not expected to be able to produce architectural artefacts.
• Experience with the following items is an asset but is not required: CI/CD, SCM, GCP Administration and Integration, Kubernetes, Jest testing framework, Distributed system development (SOA, Microservices, etc), LangChain

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
