What we're looking for HiNeon is a fast-growing LED neon sign manufacturer based out of Vancouver, Canada. We specialize in the design and manufacture of custom and pre-built modern neon signs/artwork. We mainly work with business clients from Canada and the U.S through our online B2B channel. We’re now looking for a senior full stack web developer to join our team. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop WooCommerce store (write child theme) following UX design.
• Develop custom web features to enhance the user experience.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Perform all activities in the web development life cycle (Plan, Implement, Test, Document, Deploy, Maintain).
• Troubleshooting website issues (front end and back end).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience as WordPress Developer, 2+ years of experience with WooCommerce.
• Decent knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Familiar with UX and mobile development.
• Familiar with MySQL database development, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good communication skills in written and verbal English.
• Ability to project manage.

Good to Have:

• Good understanding of SEO.
• Proficient in using Python.
• Experience with ChatGPT.
