Responsibilities:

• Safely complete jobs using various tools and equipment, including power tools, cut-off saws, tampers, and mobile equipment.
• Proficiently determine and set grades, such as screeding sand for pavers, laying base courses for walls, and installing pavers.
• Act as a leader on-site, participating in training events and safety meetings.

Compensation:

• Competitive wages based on skills assessment and experience ($30-35/hr).

Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Landscape Construction or the Construction Industry in progressive roles.
• Post-Secondary Trades Education/Red Seal (completion or working towards) is an asset.
• Experience with Hardscape and Soft Scape Landscaping required.
• Ability to read technical reports, blueprints, and other construction documents is an asset.
• Experience in Heavy Machinery Operation (1000+ hours) is an asset.

Requirements:

• Steel-toed boots are mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is essential (employees are responsible for commuting to the site; carpooling is not organized by the company).
• Physically able to frequently lift 30-60 lbs.
