The PR Department, one of Canada's most awarded boutique agencies, has a full-time opportunity for a highly motivated individual to help us develop, implement and optimize social media and influencer strategies in Canada. The ideal candidate is passionate about all things social, and gets excited about the possibility of contributing to a team helping solve marketing challenges for great Canadian and international brands. A talented writer, the candidate will be responsible for crafting creative content calendars as well as other types of communications, will collaborate on designing and implementing digital ad campaigns, develop data-driven recommendations, build and grow the social media presence of our clients while engaging in an ongoing dialogue with Canadian consumers and stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

• Writing and content creation.
• Scheduling content.
• Boosting posts.
• Community management - reactive and proactive interactions.
• Informing, educating and responding to consumer queries.
• Collecting and analyzing data to help unlock insights.
• Monitoring and reporting key metrics and prepping data for reports.
• Engaging and working with influencers to develop themes, set campaign details and coordinate campaigns.
• Identifying new opportunities and trends.
• Assisting the team with other areas of mandate, from events to public relations campaigns.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of directly transferable experience in social media community management or digital marketing. Though not essential, a preference will be given to candidates that have French skills in order to support Quebec market.

Starting salary will increase based on experience.

Salary: From $45,000.00 per year
