Description
PLEA Community Services is currently seeking an Excluded Temporary Full-Time Marketing Coordinator, Recruitment (Summer Student) for our HR team located in Vancouver, BC. This position will be a 16-week term-contract with a projected end date of August 31, 2024. This position is excluded from BCGEU membership.

The Marketing Coordinator, Recruitment (Summer Student) provides recruitment marketing expertise and consultation to the HR department and works on a variety of Employer branding projects related to recruitment.
Position Type: Temporary Full-Time
Location: Vancouver, BC. This is an office-based position.
Hours of Work: The usual hours of work in this position are Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM, based on 37.5 working hours per week.
Minimum Requirements: Enrollment in a degree program in a relevant subject area within Marketing, Communications or Business Administration.

What You Will Do:
- Complete media campaigns for talent attraction, including developing new ideas for creative strategies, conducting market research to grasp talent trends, and optimizing digital media to meet hiring goals.
- Develop and implement creative social media recruitment marketing campaigns in order to increase talent brand awareness and engagement, including written and video content.
- Compile media recommendations across multiple digital platforms, and design, develop, and deploy digital media strategies.
- Run Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns, including monitoring campaign efficiency of cost per hire and direct ad budgets accordingly to enhance value and results.
- Perform keyword research, website Search Engine Optimization (SEO) audits and ongoing management of digital ads to resolve keyword targets.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Protect and uphold confidentiality.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience in the creation of engaging content for social media, development of video content, as well as in digital and social media marketing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare engaging written and video content.
- Excellent time management, organizational, administrative and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in the pursuit of organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to produce effective digital and social media marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, make sound decisions, and be accountable for results.
- Demonstrated ability to be sensitive and understanding of individuals’ social realities including issues of race, culture, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, poverty and lifestyle.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, database systems and web-based conferencing tools.
Additional Requirements:
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Clearance.
- Documentation that the applicant is legally approved to work in Canada.
