The Photo Editing Assistant is responsible to provide editing support to the Social Media and E-Commerce team. The Photography Editing Assistant focuses solely on collecting images and then carefully reviewing to make any changes or alterations that match the layout, guidelines, and preferences for Blue Ruby Jewellery.

Responsibilities:

• Review and edit images produced by our Social Media team or from our vendors.
• Produce product photography using 360° photography equipment and a DSLR camera
• Use Adobe Photoshop to correctly adjust and manipulate photos to company guidelines and specifications.
• Edit all photos to meet company deadlines.
• Manage the organization of digital files, ensuring integrity and accessibility for the team
• Maintain photo equipment and cleanliness of the studio

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary Education in Photography required.
• Previous experience in photo editing required.
• Expert in Adobe Photoshop
• Experience using studio lighting and photography equipment. Experience with DSLR camera’s is an asset.
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 21 – 28 per week
