Our company is growing and is hiring an experienced Project Coordinator (reporting to the PMO Director) to join our team. The position will be based in the Vancouver Area, or Nanaimo, BC.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage structural steel projects from start to finish
• Coordinate and communicate with project managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedule and budget
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and safety compliance
• Review project designs, drawings, plans, and specifications
• Collaborate with Niik Steel stakeholders to ensure project success
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during fabrication and installation
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records

Requirements:

• Experienced in structural steel industry
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in construction management or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a project coordinator, estimator, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
• Proficiency in various construction management software (e.g., ProCore)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction documents
• Experience with estimating and bidding process
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $65,352.00-$75,889.00 per year
