Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to lead the testing of all automated and triggered email communications related to our dispute resolution module. Given the sensitive nature of customer disputes, the accuracy, timing, and legal compliance of these emails are paramount. The successful candidate will design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans to ensure flawless delivery and content integrity across all scenarios.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy Development:

Develop and execute end-to-end test plans for all email flows triggered by dispute lifecycle events (e.g., Dispute Opened, Evidence Requested, Resolution Reached, Refund Issued).

Define test scenarios that cover positive, negative, and edge cases, including timing delays, system failures, and concurrency issues.

Content and Data Verification:

Rigorously test email content to ensure dynamic fields (e.g., dispute ID, customer name, resolution date, monetary value) are populated accurately from the database.

Verify all legal disclaimers, unsubscribe links, and required compliance text are present and functional in every template.

Confirm the correct language/localization is used based on user settings or geo-location.

Delivery and Rendering Testing:

Test email delivery success, timing, and reliability across different environmental conditions (high load, system downtime).

Utilize tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar internal tools) to verify correct rendering and responsiveness across major email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.) and devices.

Integration Testing:

Verify the seamless integration between the core dispute processing system and the email delivery service (e.g., SendGrid, AWS SES).

Ensure that internal system logs (audit trails) accurately record the status and timestamps of all emails sent.

Defect Management:

Accurately log, prioritize, and track defects found during testing, working closely with developers and product managers until resolution.
