Description
Poppy Finch is a Vancouver based fine jewelry company with global distribution from large department stores to luxury boutiques. We are looking for passionate and creative individuals to join our growing team.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Showroom Manager to join our team. As the Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our showroom, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise showroom staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance
- Lead a memorable and exceptional customer service experience
- Recruit, train, and onboard new team members
- Set sales targets and motivate the team to achieve them
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production team to ensure product availability
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment
Knowledge:
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and drive sales
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Stay informed and knowledgeable of all Poppy Finch products and latest launches, keeping the team informed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a retail management role in a luxury retail environment
- Fine jewelry experience and knowledge a plus
- Strong mathematical skills for handling sales transactions and inventory management
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other relevant software applications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and lead a team
- Experience in recruiting, training, and developing employees
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
