We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full-time position as a Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader, a key contributing role within the organization.

Overview

The WH & Logistics Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and logistics activities, ensuring efficient processes, and leading a team of warehouse personnel. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while promoting a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Principle Accountabilities

Timely processing of customer orders ensuring shipments are shipped on time to meet revenue goal ensuring shipment inbound and outbound are monitored until delivery. Inventory accuracy must be maintained at all time.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

· Supervise a team of warehouse and logistics personnel. Assigning and delegating tasks, evaluating performance to ensure productivity and efficiency.

· Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, provide training to staff, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

· Oversee receiving, storage and inventory, and dispatch of goods. Ensuring all processes are strictly followed. Perform cycle count checks to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained. Implement improvements to inventory control system.

· Oversee the shipping documentation, including international shipping, to ensure shipped packages have all regulatory and documentary requirements to arrive at the country of destination expeditiously.

· Work closely with operations and planning to ensure timelines are met.

· Address and resolve external and internal customer-related issues as they arise. Ensure a high level of service is maintained through efficient warehouse operations.

· Prepare and submit Warehouse and Logistics KPI’s on warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy and other warehouse and logistics activities.

· Assess & Identify Opportunities for improvement and innovation within the warehouse and logistics function. Lead projects to implement new processes.

· Maintain accuracy and up-to-date information on the Weekly Shipping Dashboard.

· In-charge of material harvesting, preparation and packaging of Ionomr Materials.

· Work with other departments on daily issues relating to inventory and shipments, reaching resolutions in a timely manner to avoid impact to production schedule or product quality.

· Develop and improve packaging standards for all Ionomr Products.

· Train warehouse and logistics personnel on new processes and procedures.

· Create documentation and SOP’s required for warehouse and logistics function.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or other relevant field of study and/or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse manufacturing environment;

· Have used and worked with Fedex, DHL, UPS and other international shipping & brokerage companies.

· Knowledge of international shipping standards including HS Codes, Commercial invoices etc. a definite advantage.

· Supply Chain (ASCM) and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.

· Experience and proficiency with ERP systems required.

· Knowledge of operational excellence and S&OP concepts required.

· Strong literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.

· Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team atmosphere.

· Superior interpersonal skills and communication abilities.

· Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills along with a keen attention to detail.

· Results-oriented and driven work style, with excellent task-oriented follow-through.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
