Client Services Manager - Security and Screening

We are rapidly evolving our business and we are looking for a seasoned and motivated Client Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal. This is a contract role (April 1,2024 - November 1,2024). This is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly skilled, professional Safety and Security team.

What you'll do:

As the Client Services Manager working at Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal, you'll be responsible for: Scheduling Officers in day-to-day operations using WinTeam, coordinating with Terminal Security Operations, CBSA, USCBP, Completing Transport Canada compliance drills, preparing detailed reports for Ceres Terminals Canada and directing our control room operators with dispatching on-site officers to attend areas of concern.

In this role, you will be working directly with the Ceres Terminals Canada Security Manager in daily cruise operations. In addition, you will act as a liaison between Westguard and Ceres Terminals Canada. The Site Manager will maintain a safe work environment by following the Federally regulated protocols and procedures. In addition, the Site Manager will take the necessary steps to eliminate and minimize hazards and Security threats while overseeing a security team of 50+ employees.

Your qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a BC Security License (BST Sponsorship available)
• Ability to obtain Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC) or Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) clearance. Westguard will sponsor and submit clearances for those who do not have them.
• OFA 2 (Paid training will be provided for those needing to obtain certification)
• AST (Paid training will be provided for those needing to obtain certification)

Your skills:

• Three to five years of team leading experience
• Able to handle himself/herself in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and write deive reports in English.
