Who Are We? Exterior residential house painting company based out of West Side Vancouver. Owned and managed by Destin & Gianni, both recent SFU graduates and lifelong friends.

Why Are We Hiring? To provide our teams with an experienced leader and to produce more projects for clients on the West Side of Vancouver.

What Are The Requirements?

• Minimum 2 Years/Seasons of Painting Experience.
• Vehicle for Transporting Paint, Materials, & Equipment (nice-to-have).

What Are The Major Responsibilities And Tasks?

Project Manager Discussions & Updates:

• Weekly discussion with the project manager about details of upcoming jobs, employee allocation, progress of ongoing projects, and other business or personal matters.
• Updating the project manager on any new major requests, expectations, and/or complaints from the clients.
• Meeting monthly with the project manager and painters for an evaluation of the painter's performance.

Project Start:

• Reviewing client agreement to refresh on details of the project.
• Walkaround with the client and project manager on the first day of the job to align the understanding of expectations.

Day-to-Day Processes:

• Leading a crew of 1-4 painters (including team lead) on-site to produce the job.
• Driving to the store to pick up supplies and paint before you start work in the morning.
• Meeting with painters at the beginning of each workday to communicate the daily objectives and listening to ideas from the painters on new ways to complete the job.
• Training new employees in areas they show little experience.

Fulfilling Client Expectations On-Site.

• Following expectations the client has laid out for the job.
• Listening to new requests or complaints from the client as the job is underway.
• Implementing solutions to minor requests and/or managing minor complaints.

Project Completion.

• Completing all final details and touch-ups for the project to company standard.
• Storing & locking equipment, tools, & paint in your vehicle during the day and overnight.
• Dropping off garbage & empty paint cans/pails at the proper location.

Administrative Tasks.

• Keeping receipts of all purchases that are business related.
• Receiving approval from project/marketing managers for any large purchases of equipment or tools.

What Is The Compensation? $25-$40 per hour.

What Is The Schedule? Monday-Friday 40 hours per week, and weekends if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
