Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator provides day to day confidential administrative support to RainCity Housing’s Human Resources department. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources & Labour Relations, the position manages correspondence, performs administrative tasks and functions, and coordinates the work of the Human Resources team.

This generalist role performs a variety of administrative tasks to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency, while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. As a key point of contact for communication, the Human Resources Coordinator requires the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact, confidentiality and good judgement.

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 80 bi-weekly Hours

SALARY: $50,005.50 – $51,182.10 annually
TERM: Temporary until June 1, 2025, with possibility of extension or return of incumbent.
START DATE: As soon as possible
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, A combination of work from home and from head office
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or certificate in Human Resource Administration
  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office and its suite of products
  • Strong word-processing abilities
  • Non-profit experience is preferred
  • Governance experience would be ideal
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
  • Ability to understand, communicate and support the mission and values of RainCity Housing, and the models/methods of supporting clients including the principles of Housing First and Harm Reduction
