Job brief

We are looking for a Junior to Intermediate Drafter to join our team for an initial 6 month term with possibility of extension. This position will work alongside Engineers in the design and production of drawings for various Hydrogen production and distribution projects.

• Work in collaboration with the engineering team to perform a variety of complex drafting and design assignments in connection with process, P&ID, electrical, and mechanical layout drawings.
• Generate 3D pipe routes and piping Isometric drawings.
• Ensure compliance with company CAD standards and styles; provides recommendations on standards as necessary
• Prepares material and equipment specification notes

Requirements

• Strong understanding of AutoCAD, SolidWorks (or other 3D software) and SolidWorks PDM.
• Experience working with and generating P&IDs.
• 3 to 6 years of related drafting experience; preferably in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements.

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year

Experience:

• SolidWorks: 3 years (preferred)
